CFG-BC. Daniel Munson MALTBY, b. Aug. 28, 1770; bapt. Sept. 30, 1770, at Church of Christ, Norfolk, Conn. (Dan.4, Dan3, Dan.2, Wm.1).

James M. Maltbie (Dan.(6), Zacheus (5), wrote: "Grandfather Zacheus had a younger brother, named Daniel, who came into this State" (New York) "with him. He studied medicine for a while but became ill and settled on a small farm in Groton, N.Y., and lived a hermit life there for forty years, but finally came to my father's and spent his last days with us." He was not married. Note. Daniel was elder brother of Zacheus, not younger.
